Voigtlander 35mm f2 Apo-Lanthar Aspherical E-Mount Lens

The new 35mm Apo-Lanthar E-Mount lens has the highest resolution and highest colour correction of all Voigtländer wide-angle E-Mount lenses. As Voigtländer’s best performing 35mm E-Mount wide angle lens ever, the new 35mm APO-Lanthar continues the high performance standard of Cosina Voigtländer's 50mm f2 APO-Lanthar E-Mount lens.

Lens design includes apochromatic colour correction, floating lens elements for better close focusing performance, two double sided aspherical elements, five abnormal partial dispersion elements and superior multi-coating for outstanding flare control. Optical performance is quite simply extraordinary.

Beautiful bokeh is enhanced with “circular bokeh” from the round apertures produced at f/2, f/2.8, f/5.6 and f/16 best for capturing point light sources.

The 35mm APO-Lanthar is fairly similar in size to the 50mm APO-Lanthar E. The manual focus APO-Lanthar E mount lens is chipped for full interface with Sony full frame or APSC cameras, providing EXIF data, focus assist, auto lens correction, and 5-Axis Image Stabilization (if supported). The selective aperture system allows optional clickless video operation.

The lens is manual-focus only, adopting an all-metal helicoid unit that has been assembled and adjusted with high-precision and high-quality grease, it produces even torque and focuses smoothly, delicately, and precisely.
