Voigtlander 15mm f4.5 Super Wide-Heliar Aspherical Lens for Nikon Z Mount Cameras

The Voigtlander 15mm F4.5 Aspherical Super Wide-Heliar is a super wide-angle manual focus lens. The lens image circle covers a full-frame chip and its optical design is optimized for the image sensor of Nikon Z system cameras.

The lens is equipped with electronic contacts which communicate with the body. In addition to Exif information, and in-body image stabilization (3 axes), by combining with camera body features and the latest firmware, the lens has three types of focusing support functions:

(1) focusing by color changing of the focus point frame
(2) peaking function focusing
(3) focusing with the enlargement button.

Inheriting the lens configuration of its popular 1999 progenitor, it displays extremely low distortion and sharp images right to the periphery of the frame, despite its super-wide angle of view. (110° diagonal.)

The lens also has an optical design that optimizes the angle of incident light rays to prevent color fringing caused by the structure of digital image sensors. The minimum focusing distance is very close at 12.6cm (0.25 magnification.) A 58mm filter can be attached without the need for a special adapter as the metal hood can be simply removed using a flat-head screwdriver. This makes it possible to use filter holder systems using square and rectangular filters, often used in landscape and architectural photography.
